Let’s Go

Develop the energy, production
and transportation of
tomorrow

Help shape new paths

How do we safely switch to renewable energy? What does sustainable production look like? How can we design the transportation of tomorrow? To not only answer these questions but also implement clever solutions, we need up-and-coming engineers. In the Mechanical and Process Engineering degree program, you will learn how to understand technical systems holistically, evaluate their effect on the environment and develop efficient systems and processes, all while working in a practice-based way. After you complete your bachelor’s degree, you can either go straight into the world of work or gain an additional qualification by enrolling for our master’s program.

Projects

PROJECT-ORIENTED LEARNING

To make sure you are ready for your career once you have completed your studies and get a feel for which area interests you most, we have an eclectic concept in the Faculty of Production Engineering: you will acquire the basics using research- and project-oriented learning and participate in an application project in the first two semesters. The fifth semester is reserved for your specialization project in either mechanical engineering or process engineering.

Specialization

SPECIALIZATION IN THE FIFTH SEMESTER

In the fifth semester, you will choose your specialization: mechanical engineering or process engineering. This period is an opportunity for you to broaden your horizons by working on a second project. Thanks to the international outlook of the University of Bremen, its YUFE membership and the Erasmus network of the faculty, you can also complete your specialization at a university abroad or an industrial enterprise.
